Turbosound TPX122M 12" 250W Passive Speaker
The 2-way full range TPX122M is a 12" 1000W passive speaker system that is perfect for portable speech and music sound reinforcement applications such as FOH, side fill, and monitors. The TPX122M is a stand-alone 2-way system that doesn't require any external equalisation or filtering. It works best with a subwoofer and TURBOSOUND loudspeaker management systems. A high excursion 12" low frequency driver with a low mass voice coil for increased transient response is combined with an aluminium dome 1" compression driver mounted on a 70° horizontal by 50° vertical low distortion waveguide in the TPX122M loudspeaker. In a reflex-loaded enclosure, all drivers are matched with an internal passive crossover network.The cabinet is covered in rugged black carpet and is made of 18 mm (34") wood. It has a tough, powder-coated perforated steel mesh grille with reticulated foam, a dual-angle pole mount socket for use with 35 mm poles/speaker stands to optimise audience coverage, and durable handles for easy transport. The TPX122M can be used as mirrored left/right floor monitors because to its symmetrical wedge angle and high frequency dispersion pattern. Neutrik speakON* NL4 connectors are mounted on a side panel connector plate for input and link connections to other enclosures.
