The PROEL's Flash 8 PV2 is a polypropylene-encased full-range passive speaker with Celestion 8" woofers, designed for PA and general sound reinforcement applications.

The Flash8 models' key selling points are that, despite being priced similarly to the Next8s, they feature premium quality Celestion neodymium drivers and provide superior sound quality and performance.

The newly selected Celestion 8" woofer has a larger voice coil (1.8" as opposed to 1.5" in the Next8), which means the speaker has more power handling and lower frequency extension. Meanwhile, the newly developed large format HF horn provides greater efficiency and coverage in the HF region. 1" tweeters with titanium diaphragms handle high-frequency duties.

Despite its small size, the Proel Flash8P can handle 150W continuous input (300W peak) and has a frequency response of 96dB from 70Hz to 20kHz.
