ZOOM's TAC-2R is a two-channel Thunderbolt audio interface with near-zero latency and resolution up to 24-bit/192 kHz. This audio accessory's compact and rugged chassis makes it ideal for studio and field recording of microphones and instruments, onstage playback, and audio streaming, and it can even function as a dependable MIDI interface thanks to its dedicated MIDI input and output ports.The preamplifiers have twin XLR/TRS combination inputs, and the equipment has two balanced 1/4" outputs. Condenser microphones can be powered with phantom power, and the interface is bus powered, so no AC adaptor is required. A dedicated volume control is accessible for the headphone output, and a free Mac application is available for tweaking mix parameters and adding effects like reverb and echo.
