The TVX118B is a front-loaded 18" subwoofer system with a 2,400-Watt power rating that is appropriate for a variety of portable speech and music sound reinforcement applications. The TVX118B is designed to integrate with Turbosound passive speaker management systems to deliver optimal FOH performance as well as outstanding drum and side fill monitoring.The bass reflex port enclosure features a high-powered carbon fibre loaded 18" low-frequency driver with a specific voice coil wound on both the inside and outside of the coil former for better magnetic density, heat dissipation, high power handling capacity, and efficiency. Even in the most demanding performances, the TVX118B subwoofer provides fast and accurate transient response for almost distortion-free operation.The cabinet is made of 18 mm (3/4") birch plywood and features a sturdy powder coated perforated steel mesh grille with reticulated foam, an inbuilt 35 mm pole mount for satellite speaker applications, and strong carry handles strategically placed for easy travel. Neutrik speakON NL4 connectors with switchable input and link connections are located on the back panel connector plate, allowing for solo subwoofer applications or subwoofer and satellite speaker interconnection through 4 core speaker cabling.
