The RØDE's STEREO VIDEOMIC X is a professional-grade microphone that can be utilised as an on-camera microphone in a variety of situations, including interviews, weddings, sports and nature scenes. This condenser micropone has a matched pair of 1/2 oz condenser capsules with cardioid polar patterns, a 40 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response, and 9V battery or 48V phantom power in a stacked X-Y configuration. It also has a balanced mini XLR (TA3F) output connector and an unbalanced 1/8" input connector "stereo mini jack plug output. 

The VideoMic features digital switching on the rear that allows the user to control level adjustment, high-pass filter, and high-frequency boost to increase intelligibility of dialogue. The capsules are supported by the Rycote Lyre shock-mounting system, which provides isolation from vibration as well as knocks and bumps, and the enclosure is made of lightweight aluminium. A pop shield and a wind shield are also provided.
