Peavey's PV900 is a rackmount 2-channel power amplifier that's perfect for installation. To deliver a powerful performance, the amplifier incorporates a big toroidal transformer and storage capacitors. To prevent distortion and safeguard the amplifier and any associated speakers, the DDT compression system employs a soft limiter.
The amplifier can be used in stereo or bridged mono mode, giving it a lot of flexibility. For fine adjustment, each channel has its own detented gain control. The rear panel includes XLR/TRS combination inputs, a barrier strip input, Speakon and binding post outputs, and Speakon and binding post inputs, allowing you to connect to nearly any sound source or speaker system. The 1/4" high and low crossover jacks allow you to connect to various amplifiers for more versatility.
Peavey's proprietary Turbo-V cooling system, which uses variable-speed fans to keep system components cool, is also included in the PV900. Overheating, short circuits, clipping, DC, and defective loads are all protected by built-in protection circuitry.
