Peavey PROM1 Microphone

Peavey's Studio Pro M1 Microphone is a large-format side-address diaphragm condenser microphone with a big diaphragm. It's suitable for a wide range of studio, broadcasting, film, and television applications. The Studio Pro M1 is a versatile microphone that can be used as a primary microphone for symphony recordings, a spot microphone for single instruments, and a vocal microphone for song and speech.

Even in the upper frequency range, the cardioid characteristic's frequency response is flat for frontal sound incidence. The microphone can be placed quite close to the sound source without producing an excessively harsh sound. Interference at subsonic and low frequencies is considerably reduced thanks to a switchable high-pass filter. As a result, the switch reduces the proximity effect by cutting the low-frequency response. For usage in high-sound-pressure-level applications, an additional switch has been included. The microphone can tolerate sound pressure levels up to 140 dB thanks to the 10 dB attenuation option.
