Peavey PHR860 8" 60W Ceiling Speaker - Pair

The pair of black PHR 860 8" Metal Can Ceiling Speakers from Peavey is designed to provide high performance in a very compact footprint. Each speaker features an 8” woofer with 1.2” VC, PP cone, rubber surround, and 3/4” soft dome tweeter. A tap selector switch allows for easy system tuning and configuration. A full selection of taps up to 60W and an 8 Ω transformer bypass setting are included for maximum system versatility.

Each of the PHR series speakers is enclosed in a steel backing can and includes two color-coded, screw-locked flying leads in a wiring chamber to allow for easy system wiring and daisy chain wiring with additional PHR enclosures. The UL-compliant enclosures are constructed of high-impact, injection-molded polystyrene (plastic) and include a press-fit perforated metal grille design, with inner fabric liner for blackout, that blends well with contemporary architecture.

The enclosures feature removable locking installation arms, a back can made of formed steel, and a conduit-capable clamp for wiring. The Architectural Acoustics PHR series in-ceiling mounting enclosures are appealing for both system designers and architects. They are suitable for high-intelligibility voice, music, and signal reproduction in commercial, industrial, and institutional applications.
