To regulate the degree of stereo "spread," this single-point stereo condenser microphone features three switchable levels of stereo breadth. One cartridge (Mid) faces forward to record on-axis sound with a cardioid pickup pattern while the other cartridge (Side) is bi-directional, meaning it can record sound from both sides.
