The SHURE's SM86 is a cardioid condenser vocal microphone which can minimizes unwanted background noise. It comes with a built-in 3-point shock mount to minimize handling noise and a 2-stage pop filter to reduce wind noise.
The SHURE's SM86 features a studio-quality condenser microphone with a cardioid pickup pattern that isolates the main sound source while reducing unwanted background noise, making it perfect for use with stage monitors and in-ear monitors. It boasts a 15Hz–18kHz extended high frequency response and a 124dB maximum sound pressure level (SPL). A two-stage pop filter decreases wind and breath "pop" noise, and a built-in three-point shock mount lessens handling noise.
