SENNHEISER E908B Clip On Condenser Microphone for Brass Instruments (E 908 B)

The SENNHEISER's E908B is a small condenser instrument microphone designed for use with free-floating suspension systems on wind instruments, congas, and drums. The cardioid capsule catches music in rich richness and clarity while rejecting off-axis noise and feedback effectively. This condenser microphone can handle high sound pressure levels without peak distortion, allowing for noise-free close proximity deployment.

During performances, the small capsule is hidden, and the flexible gooseneck allows for easy positioning. Extraneous vibrations, impact, and handling noise are all reduced by using dampening materials in the mounting clamp. The e 908 B has a lockable micro 1/8" connector for use with EW series belt-pack transmitters, but it also comes with the MZA 900P cylindrical preamplifier, which terminates to a normal 3-pin XLR connection for direct connection to PA systems, consoles, and other audio equipment.
