The RØDE's STEREO VIDEOMIC PRO is a high-resolution stereo on-camera condenser microphone that allows filmmakers to capture realistic ambient sounds from a range of sources. It has improved on the popularity of the Stereo VideoMic Pro by adding a Rycote Lyre shockmount, higher-sensitivity X/Y capsules, a denser foam windshield, greater RF shielding, and a thicker Kevlar braided cable to the mix. The Rycote Lyre's integrated shockmount system reduces handling noise. The Stereo VideoMic has a 75 Hz high-pass filter switch to reduce low-frequency noise, as well as a -10 dB pad to increase headroom for capturing powerful signals without distortion. The +20 dB level-boost switch was created specifically for DSLR cameras to deliver a higher-quality feed.
