The RØDE's NT3 cardioid condenser microphone has an end-address, 3/4" gold-sputtered true-condenser transducer that captures detailed audio from practically any instrument. The NT3 is designed for recording audio on drums, percussion, acoustic guitar, guitar amps, piano, and other acoustic instruments in the studio, on stage, and on location. In cases where power isn't available from a console or camera, this microphone can be powered by phantom power or a 9V battery. The NT3's sturdy and durable all-metal body and mesh head keep it safe in the studio and out on the road. Furthermore, the cardioid pickup pattern efficiently separates the source signal, and the output circuitry and diaphragm are designed to reduce noise from radio frequency interference and poor grounding.
