RODE BLIMP WINDSHIELD and Rycote Shock Mount Suspension System

The RØDE's BLIMP WIND SHIELD is a complete windscreen and shock mounting device for the NTG1, NTG2, NTG3, NTG4, and NTG4+ microphones, as well as any third-party shotgun microphone with a length of up to 325mm (12 34"). This audio accessories now comes with the Rycote® Lyre suspension system for the ultimate in microphone suspension and isolation. The Lyre is made of a single piece of tough thermoplastic that provides better acoustic suspension than standard elastic solutions and will never wear out, sag, or snap. The Blimp's handle has also been fully redesigned, resulting in a significant reduction in product weight while improving ergonomics for handheld operation. A heavy-duty Mogami cable is housed inside the grip, which divides via a junction box into a highly-flexible thin cable inside the Blimp to reduce vibration transference to the microphone.
