The ZonePRO 1261m from DBX is a signal processor with fixed I/O, pre-configured architecture, configurable insert processing, and optional audio channel duplication to another ZonePRO device through a link bus.
The architecture of the 1261m device is pre-configured, with input processing, a central matrix, and output processing. Channel-specific insert processing can be configured by using two input insert positions and one output insert position. On each output zone, AutoWarmth®, a psychoacoustic function that maintains full frequency bandwidth even when the signal level drops, is permanently available.
In applications where additional output zones are required, a link bus enables the first six audio channels to be duplicated to another ZonePRO device.
The 1261m's front panel includes a power status LED, a network traffic LED, and a RS-232 control port.
Additional system control is offered in the form of optional Zone Controllers. This set of hardware wall controllers represents a series of simple, elegant user interfaces for functions like volume, source, and preset control.
All ZonePRO devices can be controlled with third party control systems through RS-232 or Ethernet.
ZonePRO Designer is the software that offers control of the ZonePRO 1261m via Ethernet or RS-232. There is a Configuration Wizard within ZonePRO Designer that guides the users with step-by-step configuration process of the 1261m.
