The AVer CAM520 PRO Advanced is a simple-to-use PTZ USB camera that delivers full 1080p high-definition image quality in medium and large meeting spaces. This conference system connects to practically any Windows, Mac, or Chromebook desktop or laptop computer through a single USB cable in seconds, allowing you to get started right away. The HDMI output allows you to connect the camera to a TV or other display, allowing all participants in the room to see the video information in real time—ideal for gatherings in churches, schools, or conference rooms.

All of your favourite communication apps, including Teams, Skype, BlueJeans, Cisco Webex, Google Hangouts, and more, are compatible with the CAM520 PRO Advanced. The camera captures details with pin-sharp clarity at every focal length, thanks to a Sony Exmor sensor, an 82° angle of view, smooth pan/tilt/zoom (PTZ), auto framing, auto focus, and true WDR backlight compensation. This helps to improve the quality and productivity of distance meetings and distance learning sessions for all participants.

At the touch of a button, the supplied IR remote control lets you to alter pan, tilt, and zoom positions, as well as tweak other parameters. The remote control can save and recall up to 10 position presets. The PTZApp application (free download available separately) can be used to make more detailed parameter changes and image modifications on your Windows or Mac computer.

Live streaming of your video to cloud-based services like YouTube and Facebook Live, as well as your in-house streaming network, is possible with Ethernet network connectivity. Administrators can also use a web browser or centralised management software to remotely control and set up the CAM520 PRO Advanced. Power over Ethernet (PoE+) is available over the same Ethernet connector, allowing you to power the camera without using the provided AC adapter, saving you the cost of running a power cable.

The CAM520 PRO Advanced is designed to be used on a desk or other flat surface. The supplied bracket can also be used to permanently install it on a wall (or on a ceiling with the optional ceiling-mount bracket). The camera can be mounted on a tripod using a normal 1/4"-20 threaded screw. There is a Kensington slot on the device to secure it and prevent it from being removed from your conference room without your permission.

You can tailor your meetings with the CAM520 PRO by saving up to 10 PTZ camera presets through RS-232 VISCA or UVC (USB video class). The presets are accessible with a single touch of the IR remote, saving you time and allowing you to quickly shift the camera's focus to specific spots in your conference room.

Live Streaming to YouTube and Facebook Live through IP-based management

Using an H.264 RTSP/RTMP stream, you can simply distribute live video footage from the CAM520 PRO to cloud-based services like YouTube and Facebook Live, as well as your on-premise streaming-delivery network. You may also use the AVer IP Finder app (available separately for free) to locate the camera on your network and connect to it via a browser to configure and control it remotely.
