In partnership with B&C, the loudspeaker was completely redesigned. FBT researched and developed a unique chassis, a more effective ventilation circuit with a 2dB "power compression" reduction, a significantly stronger cone to improve reliability and distortion, and a more powerful neodymium magnet to improve control and efficiency.

The FBT R&D labs have spent years researching and developing the unique amplifier. It uses cutting-edge technology to combine the opposing characteristics of lightness, high power, efficiency, and dependability. A switch mode power supply to reduce weight and boost power output velocity, as well as a very high performance PWM amplifier at low frequencies to maximise power output while reducing heat dissipation.
The equalisation, 24dB/oct crossover, complex protections, limiter, and control panel commands are all handled by the silent preamplifier made with SMD technology.

The horn's contour has been altered to improve directivity control and reduce distortion. The angle of dispersion is 90°H x 60°V.
The development of a polypropylene box with injection of perfectly inert GAS and effective reflex ducts free of unwanted turbulence was based on research conducted with the university on the cabinet's resonance and the fluid dynamics of the air.
