The Audix f50 is a Fusion Series handheld cardioid dynamic microphone for voices, speaking, and instruments in studios, houses of worship, corporate events, and live stage applications, with excellent feedback immunity and a smooth, unhyped sound. A dynamic moving coil is used in the element, which does not require any external power. Off-axis noise from sources such as monitors, additional instruments, and room ambience is reduced by the cardioid polar pattern.
The f50 has a 50 Hz to 16 kHz frequency response with moderately strong low-mid and high-mid frequencies. Its dynamic element is built to withstand loud input signals without distortion while offering more than 20 dB of off-axis rejection. The die-cast zinc alloy chassis with a steel mesh grille provides road-ready protection and durability, and the gold-plated XLR 3-pin output ensures compatibility with most microphone preamps and mixer inputs. A microphone clip and a carrying pouch are included with the f50.
