Shure BETA 27 Instrument Microphone

The SHURE's BETA27 is a supercardioid condenser microphone that suitable for a wide range of acoustic, wind, and electric instruments, including guitar and bass amplifiers, as well as drum, percussion, and piano. The tight supercardioid polar pattern assures a high gain-before-feedback and maximum isolation from other sound sources, making it ideal for use on stage. The Beta 27 is designed with a low-mass, externally biassed ultra-thin Mylar diaphragm for improved transient response.  It has a 3-position switchable low-frequency filter that helps eliminate unwanted background noise or offset the proximity effect, as well as a -15 db switchable attenuator that easily manages extremely high SPLs. Wind and breath noise are reduced by an internal pop filter with three distinct mesh layers.
