The SHURE's BETA 181/S is a supercardioid condenser microphone that suitable for recording acoustic instruments, snare drum, acoustic instrument, and a variety of other sound sources in the studio because of their amazing precision. Beta 181/S has a bidirectional (figure-8) pickup pattern, which makes it ideal for advanced mic placement techniques like Mid-Side stereo while also providing exceptional off-axis sound suppression. Even better, the Beta 181/S features a switchable capsule, allowing you to select alternative polar patterns to suit your demands.
