The system provides presenters, clergy, lecturers, and performers in commercial and educational settings, houses of worship, theatres, and on musical stages with high-quality, reliable audio.

A true-diversity half-rack receiver is contained in a sturdy, full-metal chassis in the EW 500 G4-MKE2. The receiver's auto-scan function looks for a clean, interference-free channel for your audio transmission throughout an 88 MHz UHF tuning range with 3520 selectable frequencies. Even in low-light situations, you can make quick adjustments thanks to the high-contrast OLED display with automatic dimming and a handy jog wheel.

The EW 500 G4-MKE2 has a high-grade MKE 2 omnidirectional lavalier mic with a sweat-resistant, easy-to-conceal tiny design for superb sound capture. With a configurable 10/30/50mW RF power output for overcoming interference in tough RF conditions, the bodypack transmitter can run for up to 8 hours on two AA batteries. The range of transmission is up to 330'.
