The SENNHEISER's E902 dynamic bass instrument microphone is most known for its ability to capture kick drums and bass guitar cabinets, but it also excels at reproducing low-frequency instruments with great richness and depth. The E902 has a cardioid polar pattern and a dynamic element. When collecting signals at high sound pressure levels, the dynamic element provides plenty of headroom and little distortion. The E902 reacts to fast attacks with high precision and no distortion. The E902's low frequency response has been tuned, allowing it to reproduce kick drums, bass amplifiers, acoustic bass, tuba, timpani, and more.
