RODE TF-5 MATCHED PAIR Cardioid Condenser Microphones with Stereo Mount (TF5)
The RØDE's TF-5 MATCHED PAIR is a matched pair of small-diaphragm cardioid condenser microphones designed for sound transparency, excellent stereo imaging, and unobtrusive positioning. The TF-5 MP can accurately represent the shifting timbre and dynamic range of any source, whether you're recording symphonic instruments, piano, acoustic guitar, percussion, or drums. Each microphone's precision-engineered capsule uses a cardioid polar pattern to improve directionality and reduce ambient noise. The microphones can handle high SPLs up to 120 dB while producing a wide, flat frequency response with little noise with the JFET active electronics. The mics don't suffer from performance deterioration due to exhausted batteries because they're 48V phantom powered. The included mic clips and SB20 stereo bar, which has angle/measurement indicators for ORTF and X/Y setups, can be used to connect both TF-5 mics to a single mic stand. With a selection of mic stands ranging from compact to heavy duty, the compact, lightweight mic housings ensure a balanced setup.
