The RØDE's NTK Valve 1" large-diaphragm condenser microphone is designed to give great detail and warmth in the studio. It's rich valve sound is ideal for vocals, acoustic instruments, drum overheads, guitar amps and pianos.
The RØDE's NTK Valve 1" condenser microphone is a large-diaphragm condenser microphone with Class-A valve electronics, which produces a warm sound. The NTK is designed for vocal and general instrument recording, with a cardioid polar pattern that provides the sound qualities found in higher-priced tube microphones. A mylar dual-diaphragm sprayed in gold provides transparent signal reproduction and a wide frequency response in the capsule. A hand-selected twin-triode 6922 valve and audiophile grade components make up the electrical circuitry that complements this extremely sensitive transducer. As a result, the tube warmth is outstanding, with an ultra-wide dynamic range and low noise.
