JBL CBT 70J-1 4x5" 500W Passive Column Speaker

The JBL's CBT70J-1 is a 2-Way line array column loudspeaker with sixteen 1" soft dome tweeters and four 5" high-power low-frequency drivers to give lots of power and a wide frequency response. This passive speaker with patent-pending Constant Beamwidth Technology ensures constant directivity and prevents out-of-coverage lobing, while the asymmetrical vertical coverage provides consistent front-to-back sound levels. The vertical pattern coverage can be adjusted between 45° and 25°, allowing user to choose between medium-throw and long-throw applications. To suit music and speech programmes, switchable voicing offers a flat response in music mode and a mid-range presence enhancement in speaking mode. Overload safety for HF equipment is built-in using SonicGuard technology. This variant has a stronger grille and a better mounting bracket, giving you more aiming options.
