The Electro-Voice's EKX-15S Passive 15" Subwoofer is a passive speaker that has a peak power of 1600W and can produce up to 133 dB peak SPL using high-sensitivity transducers. Intelligent thermal management is built into the EKX amplifier with a variable-speed fan controlled by onboard sensors. The EKX-15S is well-suited for both portable and installed applications. It has a 15mm wood enclosure with internal bracing, a durable EVCoat finish, eight M10 threaded mounting points, aluminium pole mounts, and metal handles.
