The ZonePRO 1260m from DBX is a signal processor that features a total of 12 inputs and six outputs. The inputs are including six balanced mic/line switchable terminal block inputs, four mono-summed pairs of unbalanced RCA inputs and one S/PDIF input for up to two digital channels. It offers fixed I/O, pre-configured architecture, configurable insert processing and optional duplication of audio channels to another ZonePRO device through a link bus. Microphone gain can be adjusted per channel using hardware-controlled microphone gain.
The architecture of the 1260m device is pre-configured, with input processing, a central matrix, and output processing. Channel-specific insert processing can be configured using two input insert positions and one output insert position. On each output zone, AutoWarmth®, a psychoacoustic function that maintains full frequency bandwidth even when the signal level drops, is permanently available.
In applications where additional output zones are required, a link bus allows the first six audio channels to be duplicated to another ZonePRO device.
The 1260m's front panel involves comprehensive signal metering, an informative LCD display, and user-specified front panel control.
All ZonePRO devices can be controlled by third party control systems via RS-232 or Ethernet
ZonePRO Designer is the software that allow users to control, configure and monitor the ZonePRO 1260 via Ethernet or RS-232. There is a Configuration Wizard within software that will guides users with step-by-step during the configuration process of the 1260m.
