Aten VS172 2 Port DVI Dual Link Audio Splitter

The ATEN's VS172 is a 2-Port DVI Dual Link Splitter with Audio which takes signals from an audio/video source and duplicates them to two audio/video outputs, resulting in DVI grade video and audio. This visual accessory employs dual link technology, which provides increased bandwidth capacity for increased transmission power and quicker refresh rates, resulting in improved video quality at viewing resolutions of up to 2560 x 1600 pixels.

The splitter can be controlled by a Control Unit, PC, and/or home automation/home theater software package thanks to the built-in bi-directional RS-232 connector on the back panel.

The VS172 is easy to operate and can be cascaded to three levels, handling up to 8 monitors, which makes them the ideal solution for situations such as:
a) Broadcasting video information to the public (news headlines,stock prices, airline and train schedules, etc.)
b) Company training facilities
c) Classroom instruction
