Aten VE892 HDMI 20km Optical Extender

The ATEN VE892 is an Optical HDMI Extender that uses optical fibre to transfer high-definition audio and video data across long distances, bypassing the length limitations of ordinary HDMI cables. This visual accessory takes an audio-video stream from a local source and serialises it for transmission over a single 3.125 Gbps optical link (at resolutions up to 1080p@60Hz at 24-bits). The VE892 can also extend IR remote controls and transport RS-232 (up to 115kbps) data in both directions, allowing you to connect serial devices like touch screens and barcode scanners.
