For the UK, Singapore, Hong Kong, and other markets that use MK type junction boxes, the ATEN VE157 VGA/Audio Cat 5 Extender with MK Wall Plate is meant to be fitted in a one-gang junction box. This visual accessory supports wide screen formats and extends VGA and audio signals up to 150 metres over a Cat 5e/6 connection while maintaining great video quality. Another Cat 5e/6 cable can be used to power the VE157 on either the transmitter or receiver side. The VE157's tiny wall plate eliminates cumbersome wires, allowing for a clean and simple installation. As a result, it's ideal for function halls, museums, and any other venue where equipment or wiring needs to be hidden from view.
