9300 Two-Way Passive Cinema Surround Loudspeaker
Recent advancements in professional cinema, including high definition content, digital projection, and immersive audio, have increased the demands on surround speakers. Modern digital formats require surrounds with advanced coverage patterns and output dynamics, moving beyond the basic, modestly performing speakers of the past.

To meet these new requirements, JBL developed the 9300 Series, a groundbreaking design tailored for today's digital audio. The 9300 and 9310 feature custom-engineered horns that offer studio-quality performance with precise pattern control, mapping theaters more accurately than before. The design includes a wave-shaping vane to distribute acoustic energy effectively, adjusting to room geometry and improving coverage.

Additionally, JBL engineers found that angling the surrounds by 15° towards the screen enhances coverage, especially in stadium seating, eliminating hot spots and improving the audience's experience. The 9300 and 9310 come with three mounting options for versatile installation in various theater layouts.
